Working Experience

Prof. Shiji Song is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University. Since 2000, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the Automation Department of Tsinghua University and the National CIMS Engineering Technology Research Center. He received his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Harbin Normal University in 1986, his master's degree in basic mathematics from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1989, and his doctor's degree in basic mathematics from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1996. From 1996 to 2000, he completed two postdoctoral studies in the Department of Physics and Oceanography of Ocean University of China and the Department of Control Theory and Application of Southeast University. Since 2006, it has been awarded the First Prize of Natural Science of Jiangsu Province, the Second Prize of Natural Science of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, and the Second Prize of Natural Science of Heilongjiang Province. In 2009, he visited Queen's University Belfast, UK, and was awarded the Distinguished Visiting Fellowship by the Royal Engineering Department. In 2018, he won the first prize of the 8th Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Natural Science Award with the project achievement of "Modeling Theory of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems and Intelligent Learning Methods".
